When the first sun rose it found us awake and waiting. Long before others came to these hills our footsteps shaped the landscape, tamed the buffalo and the gemsbuck. We rode the wind, walked the plains. We kindled fire on the winters night. Yes, look at us, we have been here before.

TOURISM PLANNING
Tourism into southern Africa is showing significant increases from both the African and international markets. It is likely that this growth will continue, provided political stability is maintained within the SADC region. The 2010 Soccer World Cup should also provide significant growth. We also believe that if we are to meet the vision and objectives of the Tourism Growth Strategy, it is fundamental that previously marginalized communities become stakeholders and roleplayers in the tourism industry. |
